Hi, my name is Anastasia!


I am Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Thai and Ayurvedic Massage Therapist and Reiki healer.
taught yoga on 3 different continents, 7 different countries, and 3 languages, and I can tell that no matter our geografical location, religion or beliefs we all can benefit from yoga practice.

YOGA is much more than just entertainment, job or hobby. It can be a part of life, which brings tremendous transformation and insights.

I know how intimidating and confusing it can be to start something new. But I want you to give it a try. I share with you 5 keys, which will help you to understand basics of yoga practice and prepare you to join group class in the studio or become a part of yoga community.

In this lesson I will talk about the mechanics of tension and relaxation and the importance of body awareness for the mental and physical health. We will discuss the purpose and importance of the final yoga pose in a class - Shavasana. With this lesson I am including an audio track with guided relaxation.

Many schools of yoga took root in the West. Some are based on authentic traditions, some are pitched to meet modern needs. It doesn’t matter which school you choose - most of them will offer a group class where the teacher will not have enough time (or sometimes enough education) to explain all details and principles of the following practice. I will offer you guidelines to help you be prepared, self-educated, and stay safe in your first yoga classes.
